"We wanted a concrete pool in The Woodlands that fit a tight backyard. Liquid Therapy Pools walked the yard with us, laid out our options and gave us a clear proposal before work began. The crew kept us updated the whole way. Our kids barely leave the water now."

"Our pool in Spring was stained and rough on the feet, so we called about resurfacing. They talked us through color and finish options first, which meant no surprises later. The water looks clean and bright, and our weekends start at the pool again."

"Our Kingwood pool needed more than a patch job. Liquid Therapy Pools planned a full remodel and showed us the layout, scope and pricing up front. The crew respected our home and kept the site tidy. It feels like a brand-new backyard without starting over."

Pavers & Patios

Paver Pool Decks and Patios You'll Use

Paver pool decks and patios in North Houston, The Woodlands and Spring, with room for real furniture and a clear path to the pool. A patio is where most of your time outside actually happens: weeknight dinners, birthday parties, a lounger in the shade. We lay out the paved areas around how you’ll use them and how they connect to the pool, the house and any firepit or outdoor kitchen you’re planning. Request a free consultation.

Room for Real Furniture: We size the patio around the table, chairs and loungers you plan to use, plus room to walk behind them. No more chairs hanging off the edge of the deck.

Made for Clay Soil: Houston's clay swells and shrinks with the weather. Pavers flex where a solid slab tends to crack, and a damaged section can be lifted and reset instead of patched.

One Look, Pool to Back Door: A patio that works with the coping, the house and the planting beds makes the whole yard look planned. We help you pick colors and patterns that tie it together.

Backyard inspiration: warm buff patio pavers beside a white-brick home, with a teak bench and agave plants.

A Pool Deck That's Easy on Bare Feet

A pool deck takes more abuse than any other patio: wet feet, hot sun and constant splashing. Lighter pavers stay cooler in a Houston summer, and a textured surface grips better than a slick one. Bring photos of colors and patterns you like, and we'll help you choose for comfort as well as looks.

Connect the Pool and the Patio

A good patio links everything else: the pool, a firepit, an outdoor kitchen, the back door. We build all of those, so the paved areas get planned around them instead of squeezed in between. Request a Consultation and bring your wish list.

Plan the Patio in Zones

Dining

Put the table close to the back door or the grill, so food doesn't travel across the whole yard.

Lounging

Loungers want sun, a view of the water and a path behind them so nobody steps over feet.

Getting Around

Keep a clear, direct route from the house to the pool steps. Wet feet shouldn't have to zigzag.

Can pavers be installed over an existing concrete patio?

Sometimes. The slab has to be solid, mostly crack-free and draining in the right direction. Pavers add height, so check doorways, steps and where the deck meets the pool coping. Thinner overlay pavers can help. If the slab is cracked, heaving or holding water, pavers won't fix it, and removing the old concrete is the better call.

How big should a pool deck be?

A common starting point is a deck at least as large as the pool's water surface, with the extra space where people actually gather. Then size it around furniture. A dining table for six needs about 12 by 12 feet with room for chairs. Each lounger needs around 7 feet of length plus a path behind it. Keep a clear walkway from the house to the pool steps.

Are pavers or poured concrete better for a pool deck?

Both work, but pavers handle Houston's shifting clay soil better. They flex instead of cracking, and a damaged section can be lifted and replaced without a visible patch. Poured concrete usually costs less up front and gives a smooth, continuous surface, but cracks are hard to hide. Whatever you choose, go light in color. Dark decks get hot fast in the Texas sun.
